Maha Co
The brainchild of local rapper Yung Raja, Maha Co poses the question that has undoubtedly crossed the minds of the extremely few: what if Indian food and Mexican food had a baby?
The answer? Taco-style fillings of guac, meats, and even nutella, wrapped around soft, pillowy sheets of thosai. The result is a refreshing combination of sweet/savoury, rounded off with the sharp tang of the thosai.

Revolver
Built around the signature centrepiece wood-fired grill, Revolver serves up modern Indian that aims to break existing conceptions of what Indian food should look and taste like.
The signature kulchette – a tandoor-cooked flatbread – comes with various toppings depending on the menu of the day, but is always crisp, fluffy, and comforting.

Firangi Superstar
Equipped with four intricately decorated themed rooms, Firangi Superstar is one of those restaurants where the ambiance grabs your attention as much as the food does. Samy’s Curry
Located in the enclave of Dempsey Hill, Samy’s Curry is a veritable institute of Indian cuisine. Beginning life as a roadside stall, the iconic restaurant has been around since 1963, and is said to be one of the first to serve fish head curry!
Not just a restaurant and more of a time capsule, Samy’s is a throwback for the ages.

Komala’s Vilas
Komala’s Vilas is another of the island’s oldest Indian restaurants, serving Indian vegetarian food since the 1930s. A true Singaporean success story, Komala’s began life when an Indian restaurant employee was persuaded to buy over the business from his employers after they returned to India.
Serving humble fare including traditional favourites like briyani, idly, and dosai, the restaurant also hosted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he dropped by for a meal with Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in 2015!

Muthu’s Curry
Yet another OG in the local Indian cuisine scene, Michelin Bib Gourmand-certified Muthu’s has been serving up South Indian fish head curry in the Little India area since 1974. Their menu expands beyond the usual tandoori chicken and curries, also featuring seafood like crab and prawn.
