Container and campervan booths at Artbox 2024
Walk past the giant traffic light installations at Artbox 2024, and you’ll see a collection of eye-catching containers and campervans. But what exactly do they contain?
From discounted oat milks to customised chocolates, we take a look at the brands and what you can get up to at these booths!
Monki
While their restaurant at Star Vista specialises in Taiwanese night market staples, Monki’s booth at Artbox shines a spotlight on Taiwanese oden. Similar to Japanese oden, ingredients here are variations of fishcakes cooked in a light broth, but also include other items like mushrooms, radish, and tofu – costing $1.5 each. For the mala fans, there’s also a mala spicy soup, created exclusively for Artbox.
If you’re looking for something more substantial, grab the Monki Braised Meat Rice ($8.5) or Oyster Mee Sua ($9.5).
Oatbedient
Local oat milk brand Oatbedient stands out from the crowd in its own way. Unlike other brands, the oat milk here is available in powdered form, making it lightweight and easier to carry around.
The powders here are as close as you’ll get to being all natural, with no preservatives and palm oil. It is also dairy-free and vegan-friendly as well!
Also available are Oatbedient’s ready-to-drink oat milks, which are available in barista and zero sugar versions. As testament to their commitment to keep products as natural as possible, the zero sugar version contains all of three ingredients: water, oats, and Himalayan pink salt.
Bargain hunters, this one’s for you! While Oatbedient is also available at online platforms such as Redmart and Shopee, prices at their Artbox booth are more discounted than usual. For example, oat milk powders are going at $8 per box here, while they cost $10.9 on Shopee.
Moomoo
Inflation really hit us like a truck when the cheapest price for a neighbourhood chicken rice went all the way up to $5.
Moomoo attempts to beat inflation with their special promotion for both new and existing customers. Deposit new funds, invest, and get a guaranteed 6.8% return just like that! You can also stand to win more prizes at their lucky draw, including Apple shares and Moomoo merch.
TikTok Music
Move over Spotify and Apple, there’s a new music streamer in town. TikTok Music has reached Singapore’s shores, making us one of the first countries in the world to have access, along with Mexico and Australia.
At Artbox, you can get a free 6 months subscription of TikTok Music, which unlocks a ton of social music streaming features, including the Find Your Music Community, where you can find your tribe by commenting on songs and connecting with others who listen to the same music as you.
Psst, we also hear there’ll be special performances by TikTok-viral artists on 2 and 3 Feb at 2pm, so don’t miss out on them!
Chang Beer
Pick up a pint (or two!) and chill at the Chang Beer booth. Conveniently located right across the Artbox Stage, this popup is decked out with chairs and tables – a prime spot to soak in the tunes with food and a beer in hand.
Beers here come in draught and cans starting at $7.50, with discounts for those buying more multiple drinks. You can stand to score free Chang merch as well, such as a free hoodie with 2 pints purchase!
Catch SG
Need some inspiration for the upcoming Valentine’s Day? Catch.sg has you covered.
Head on down to their booth to get inspiration from their arts and culture listings, and build your own ideal Valentine’s Day contest to get your dream day out FOR FREE. With choices like a staycay at Pan Pacific and a steak dinner at L’Entrecote, you and your partner are bound for a memorable date indeed.
You can also take some very Gen Z 0.5 selfies in their photobooth, which attracted some extremely long queues when we were there.
Janice Wong
Mama said don’t play with your food, but she’s clearly never been to the Janice Wong booth.
Here, you get to indulge in your creative sense with the chocolate painting activity, adding a personal touch to your sweets before nomming them down. Apart from chocolate bars, you can also paint on lollipops, which require a quick 5 minute blast in the freezer for the edible paints to set.
The less artistic among us can opt for the unpainted chocs, which go for $12 for a bar, and $25 for a box of 5 bonbons.
Catch these container booths at Artbox 2024
Situated in the middle of the Artbox grounds, these container and campervan booths are extremely hard to miss. And given that they’re packed with food and offers, they absolutely should not be missed too!
