Solo Duck Cafe in Melaka serves classic cafe food
We’ve all heard of cat and dog cafes, but here’s one that really takes the quack. Located in Melaka, Solo Cafe is probably the first duck cafe!
From the moment you step into this quaint establishment, it’s clear that the ducks are the stars of the show. The two resident ducks sit obediently in their thrones, flaunting their feathers and mingling with guests. What’s more enchanting is seeing them settle down in their adorable baby strollers, a sight that’s sure to melt hearts and prompt a flurry of photos.
As the ducks waddle around, customers can get to pet, feed, and even cuddle with these birds. It’s not just a spot for enthusiasts of feathered friends, but also for children to get to know these adorable creatures better.
The soft-feathered ducks are said to be very well-behaved, and will not attack or peck at customers! In addition, despite the animals, the cafe is kept clean and pleasant-smelling at all times.
The duck paraphilia is found all over the store, including the duck-themed soft toys lining the cafe entrance, and rows of rubber yellow duckies. Also, other pets like dogs are also welcome to visit!
As the ducks quack away in the distance, you can get ready to fill up on coffee and bites. On the menu are cafe staples like pastas (from RM17.9) and Fish and Chips (RM20.9). The more macabre may opt for the Smoked Duck Aglio Olio (RM18.9) to remind the ducks where they truly stand.
