Avatar: The Experience extends its stay at the Gardens By The Bay
Fans of the James Cameron epic Avatar rejoice! Avatar: The Experience, located at the Cloud Forest at the Gardens By The Bay, has extended its run all the way 1 January 2024, which means the whole family can now head down and escape to the magical planet of Pandora!
Here’s a peek into the extraordinary encounters awaiting you and your little ones.
Encounter the native Na’vi and flora
Right as you enter the Cloud Forest, the statuesque Na’vi welcome you into the techno futuristic rainforests of Pandora. We’re not in Toto now, Kansas!
Splashes of blue and purple accents illuminate the greenhouse forest, as plants (both earthly and alien) dot the signature indoor waterfall.
Come face to face with the marine creature Ilu from the sequel Avatar: Way of The Water, and delve into a discussion with your child about the rich biodiversity of this alien world juxtaposed with Earth’s own.
Step into Bioluminescent Environments
Probably the most eye-catching exhibit is where the bioluminescent Tree of Souls comes alive. Be enthralled as thousands of sparkling lights interact with every movement. The extrasolar moon’s native wildlife also come to life in the form of wall projections! Spot the odd moose-like creature dart past, as animals reminiscent of jellyfish float lazily across the landscape.

Try as you might, there’s no missing out the towering 6-metre tall animatronic mountain banshee. Equipped with one-of-a-kind animatronics, the massive banshee provides a visual treat that is bound to entertain and educate young minds about the power of technology and creativity.
Then look around for the friendly lab tech, as he parades an adorable baby banshee that you can get up close and personal with!
Soar high above Pandora
